The Australasian Women in Emergencies (AWE) Network invites members to join an informative session on connecting cultural lived experience into disaster management, led by Lisa Keedle. Those in Wellington can join in-person at the main WREMO office or all are welcome to attend virtually via Zoom link.
Lisa is an experienced emergency management leader at the Yarra Ranges Council where they’ve dealt with medium to large scale events annually for more than eight years running – she’s got lots to talk about with us!
She also comes ready to share fresh insights from the Yarra Ranges Council’s ‘Our Country – Our Way’ National Symposium on resilience and healing using Indigenous knowledge systems.
RSVP via Humanitix to save your seat or receive the online meeting link!
